Travel the World through Art this Spring Break! Each day will be dedicated to a different global region as children learn the rich history behind diverse cultures and then create their own masterpieces! These “Young Picassos” will gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence to create truly personal expressions of themselves without judgment, which will inspire a lifetime of creativity. Included will be lessons in Drawing & Sketching; Multi-Media Sculpture; Sumi Brush Techniques & Painting; and Wax Resist Fabric Painting.

Kids get to draw, paint, sculpt, learn printmaking and make collages at Art Mix. Their Art Mix Pop-In Studios will also be open from 1-5pm during the week of Spring Break for hours of creative fun! $15.00 for the first child, and $10.00 for siblings and friends!

Kids will learn about the Red Wolf, Texas Horned Lizard, Houston Toad and other threatened or endangered species in Texas and around the globe. Naturalists will lead children through games, educational crafts and activities both inside and outdoors on the Arboretum’s 155-acres.
