At Bayou Bend Summer History Camp, kids can become blacksmiths, make candles, play colonial games, write with quill pens, wear 18th-century clothes, and more! Early Americana provides the perfect inspiration for exploring how children lived 250 years ago. Designed for students entering or exiting 5th grade during the summer they attend, this one-week program at Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens culminates in a special presentation for family and friends. Registration is open now, but space is limited, so sign up early! (NOTE: some weeks are sold out; the dates listed are accurate as of 5/2/17).
